Wow, another powerful chapter from Peter.
Chapter 4 once again talks about ceasing from sin, obedience to God and about entrusting our souls to God through doing good works.
The Bible makes Christianity sound like such as active faith where you actually have to work out your salvation with God with fear and trembling as the scriptures say. The Church on the other hand makes it sound so easy, just go to church, confess Jesus once and you’re saved already.
We all need to make a decision in our lives whether we’ll follow the words of God or the teachings of men?
Following God is much harder, but it is the only path that leads to salvation. Remember narrow is the gate and hard is the way that leads to life and few find it.
