Second Peter is a powerful letter encouraging us to endure in the faith and not fall away.
Peter also talks about prophecy as a witness to us and then goes onto talk about false teachers who would come and lead many away. On account of these people Peter also foretells us that the truth shall be blasphemed.
This letter also goes onto talk about God’s righteous judgement and the punishment of the unrighteous. Peter also tells us that there will be scoffers in the last days, talks about the day of the Lord, and encourages us to be steadfast until the end.
