קַ֙יִן֙ I have changed this Hebrew name from Cain to Kain to avoid confusion with Canaan. Also the name I have translated as Kainan has Kain as its root in Hebrew. The people called the Kenites after the flood are also the same root word in Hebrew as Kain, however as they cannot be related I have opted to keep the translation of Kenite to avoid confusing the traditional translation of this name.
