I can’t believe the King James translators used the word Easter instead of Passover, this has now been rectified. Easter and Christmas while comingled with Christianity through the early state Church are clearly pagan holidays. Christians should clearly give respect to the festivals instituted by God through the Jewish people. Passover was instituted in Egypt through Moses and it is clearly prophetic of the first manifestation on Earth of the Son of God. By losing touch with the early Churches foundation in Jewish understanding and festivals we do ourselves no favours as Christians for we lose our ability to understand the scriptures.
Remember in the book of Ruth, the gentile girl Ruth learned of how to approach her future Jewish husband Boaz through her Jewish mother-in-law, who in turn came back to relationship with him and regained her land through her Gentile daughter-in-law.
