The old King James translated this part of the verse incorrectly: “then began men to call upon the name of the Lord”. It should be along the lines of: “And The Lords name was called on with contempt, from this time.” This is what I have changed it to. It can be clearly seen that from Adams fall to the flood of Noahs time that men became more and more wicked. This then backs up the change to the translation. The old translation doesn’t make any sense in this context. The Hebrew text also backs this up.
