The old King James did a poor job of translating the same Hebrew names into consistent English names. This makes it hard for the reader of the Bible to understand when the text is talking about the same person in different books. Also it is important for prophecy students to be able to tie names together, as some biblical names have prophetic meanings.
I have performed a quick sweep through the names in Genesis chapter 10 and 1 Chronicles chapter 1 to align the Hebrew names with each other so they are also consistent in the English. I still have more work to do on this as the translation progresses.
