ἀπώλειαν was sometimes translated as ‘perdition’ and sometimes as ‘destruction’. I have now changed all instances to ‘destruction’ to improve the consistency of the translation and I also believe that the modern reader will relate to the word destruction more than the word perdition which is rarely used today.
