This was a hard verse to unscramble but I think in the end I did it some justice. The old translation was:
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
I think the new translation is much clearer:
And because they did not examine God, nor acknowledge him in their understanding, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not right;
