Gods Judgement Right
WHAT advantage then has the Jew? or what advantage the circumcision?
2 Much in every way: chiefly because, to them were entrusted the oracles of God.
3 For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?
4 Certainly not! Rather, let God be true, and every man a liar. As it is written:
“That you would be shown right in your words,
and without reproach when you judge.”
(Psalm 51:4)
5 But if our unrighteousness demonstrates the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unjust who imposes wrath? (I speak as a man)
6 Certainly not! for how then could God judge the world?
7 For if the truth of God has abounded through my lie to his glory; why am I still judged as a sinner?
8 And not as we have been slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say (whose condemnation is just): Let us do evil, that good may come?
All Have Sinned
9 ¶ What then? are we better than they? Certainly not: for we have previously proved both Jews and Greeks, that all are under the power of sin;
10 As it is written: “There is none righteous, not one:
11 There is none that understand, there is none that seek God.
12 They have all turned away, They have together become perverse;
there is none that does good, not one.

13 Their throat is an open grave; with their tongues they deceive;
the poison of adders is under their lips:
(Psalm 5:9), (Psalm 140:3)
14 Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:
(Psalm 10:7)
15 Their feet are swift to shed blood:
16 Destruction and misery are in their ways:
17 And the way of peace they have not known:
(Isa 59:7-8)
18 There is no fear of God before their eyes.”

Righteousness by Faith, Not Law
19 ¶ Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and that all the world may become answerable to God.
20 Therefore by the work of the law no flesh will be justified in his sight: rather through the law is the knowledge of sin.
21 But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the law and the Prophets;
22 (Even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ to all, and upon all those that believe: for there is no distinction:
23 For all have sinned, and fallen short of the glory of God).
24 ¶ The free gift of justification by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25 Whom God set forth to be the atonement through faith in his blood, to demonstrate his righteousness for the overlooking of past sins, through the patience of God;
26 To demonstrate at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of those that have faith in Jesus.
Boasting Excluded
27 ¶ Where is boasting then (through what law, of works)? It is excluded. No, but by the law of faith.
28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the works of the law.
29 Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the nations? Yes, of the nations also:
30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.
31 Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not: on the contrary we establish the law.
